Turquoise
is a greenish-blue stone made up of mostly copper and aluminum.
It is formed as a secondary mineral in cracks in metamorphic rock
through the accretion of mineral deposits from highly mineralized
ground water. The hanging pendant turquoise is from the
Tunnel Mine, Cananea, Sonora,
Mexico.
The 19"
necklace is comprised of flat turquoise disks, complimented with
antique silver "daisy" and intricately designed larger
silver beads. The hanging turquoise nugget adds an additional
2" to the length of the necklace. The bracelet is 7"
long and made with small turquoise nuggets and antique silver rice
beads.
The
set comes in a nice gift box and shipping is free on this item in
the US and Canada.
