From the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, comes this stone of black marble containing the fossilized remains of the shell of an extinct aquatic animal called an Orthoceras. This animal was similar in appearance to today's squid. This stone has been shaped to and polished to reveal the fossil contained within and is the beautiful pendant hanging from this beautiful Hematite necklace. The complimentary Hematite stones are 4mm rondells and long rice beads of the metallic stone of iron ore. Antique pewter beads are used throughout this set. The necklace is 17" long plus the hanging pendant length of 2.3". The complimenting bracelet is 7" long. You have a choice of the dangling earrings that are 1" long OR the Hematite stud earrings.
