The Rock People
These specimens are the fossilized remains of a fish deposited in fine sediments creating a massive sedimentary layer known as the Green River Formation located in Wyoming. Some of the siltstone surrounding the fossil have been removed to expose the skeletal remains of the fish. All fish come with display stands. |

Top to bottom: 1. Large Priscacara Fish, approximately 9"X4". Total plate size 10.5"X6.5". One of the less common fish found in this area. A beautifully detailed skeletal structure on this fish. Very detailed. F4 - Priscacara Fish - $150.00
2. Large Diplomystus Fish, approximately 7"X3". Total plate size 9.5"X8". A finely detailed skeletal remains of a Diplomystus of good size. There is also a few little skeletal as well as fish scale remains on this plate. F5 - Diplomystus Fish - $80.00 3. Knightia Fish, approximately 3"X1", overall plate size 5"X3". These have been painted to enhance the outline of the fossil as the imprints were faint in color. The detail in the skeletal structure are very detailed.
